Planning and Zoning Commission Special Meeting June 8, 2010 5:30 p.m. City Council Chambers

Members Present: Gus David, Mayor Roger Logdahl, Dan Heinecke and Ann McGarry

Members Absent: Howard McKinney

Also Present: City Engineer Matthew Pellinen and City Clerk/Treasurer Michael McKinney

David called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.

Bigfork Comprehensive Plan

The Planning & Zoning Commission discussed the comprehensive plan questionnaire provided by the Arrowhead Regional Development Commission and proposed updates to that questionnaire. Those updates included specifying timelines of five and ten years when asking respondents what they see Bigfork becoming in the future and adding space to the questionnaire to give respondents the opportunity to provide general comments.

Motion by Logdahl, second by McGarry, to approve the questionnaire as amended and to forward the document to the City Council for their approval, motion carried unanimously (MCU).

City Clerk/Treasurer McKinney also provided a list of individuals that may have interest in participating in this process, including Mike Kocian, Gene Madsen and Ron Herbig from Bergquist.

The Planning & Zoning Commission meeting was adjourned by David at 5:42 p.m. The next regular meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at 5:30 p.m.
